How Bengaluru Pilgrims Reach Varanasi
From Bengaluru, the answer is simple: fly.
By air. Regular direct flights connect Bengaluru with Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport at Babatpur, about 22 km from Varanasi — around an hour by road to the old city. Land with daylight to spare and you can be at the evening Ganga Aarti the same day.
By train. Long-distance trains do connect Bengaluru with Varanasi, but the rail journey stretches well beyond a full day each way. Unless the train itself is the pilgrimage for your family, keep your leave for the ghats and fly.

What a 3-Night / 4-Day Kashi Darshan Covers
Three nights is the pace at which Kashi stops being a checklist and becomes a pilgrimage. This is the shape of the yatra we plan for most Bengaluru families:

| Day 3 | Sarnath, where the Buddha first taught — just 10 km from the city. Afternoon for Sankat Mochan, Durga Temple, and unhurried time in the lanes. |
| Day 4 | One last morning darshan or a quiet hour on the ghats, then transfer to the airport for the flight home. |

Is there a direct flight from Bengaluru to Varanasi?
Yes — direct flights connect Bengaluru with Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport at Babatpur, about 22 km from the city. Every package includes airport pickup, so share your flight time on WhatsApp and the cab, hotel check-in, and first darshan are planned around your landing.
Can we take a train from Bengaluru instead?
Long-distance trains do connect Bengaluru with Varanasi, but the journey stretches well beyond a full day each way — for a 4-day yatra you would spend more time on the rails than at the ghats, so flying is by far the more practical choice. If a rail yatra is what your family wants, tell us and we will plan the Kashi days around your arrival.
Is 4 days enough, including the flights?
Yes. With direct flights both ways, the 3-night plan fits the evening Ganga Aarti on Day 1, the complete four-temple Kashi Yatra sequence, the dawn boat ride, and Sarnath — without rushing. If you can add a fifth day, Ayodhya or Prayagraj becomes possible.
We speak Kannada and English at home — will language be a problem in Kashi?
No. English works with our whole team, and your pre-arrival briefing document explains every temple, ritual, and ceremony in plain language before you arrive. Tell us your preferred language in the enquiry and we match the guide accordingly wherever possible.
Our elders want to do Kashi 'properly' — pind daan, sankalp, the full sequence. Can you arrange that?
Yes. The traditional four-temple Kashi Yatra sequence is built into every package, and priest-led rituals can be added — tell us in the enquiry what your elders have in mind and we arrange a priest, the correct ghat, and the timing. Nothing is improvised on the day.
How much does a Kashi Yatra package from Bangalore cost?
