Ram Janmabhoomi
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple is the new Nagara-style mandir at the birthplace of Maryada Purushottam Ram in Ayodhya, consecrated on 22 January 2024. Built by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in pink Bansi Paharpur sandstone over 70 acres, the temple completed centuries of devotional aspiration.

Ayodhya is the eternal city of Shri Ram on the banks of the Sarayu, revered in Hindu tradition as the birthplace of Maryada Purushottam and counted among the seven Mokshapuris of Sanatan Dharma. The city today centres on the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, consecrated on 22 January 2024, and on the older shrines of Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and Nageshwarnath that have been worshipped here for centuries.

Hanuman Garhi is the fort-temple of Hanuman atop a small hill in the heart of Ayodhya, reached by climbing seventy-six stone steps. Tradition holds that no Ayodhya yatra is complete without first bowing here — Hanuman is the dwarpal (gatekeeper) of Ayodhya, and his darshan is sought before approaching the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

Chitrakoot is the forest tirtha where Shri Ram, Sita, and Lakshman spent eleven and a half years of their fourteen-year vanvas. Tradition places the meeting of Ram and Bharat here, and the Kamadgiri parikrama — circumambulation of the hill where Bhagavan and Mata Sita lived — remains the heart of the yatra.
ChitrakootSankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
Sankat Mochan — "the remover of distress" — is the Hanuman temple founded by Goswami Tulsidas in the 16th century. Devotees come in times of difficulty to offer the Hanuman Chalisa, a besan laddoo, and folded hands to the Lord whose name itself means relief from suffering.
VaranasiLete Hanuman
Lete Hanuman — "the reclining Hanuman" — is the famous Hanuman shrine on the Sangam bank in Prayagraj, with the largest reclining Hanuman murti in north India (about 20 feet long). Tradition holds the murti arrived here by self-volition and refused to be moved further; the temple was built around the deity in his accepted resting-place.
