The temple of Annapurna Devi — the Mother who feeds Kashi — stands a few steps from Kashi Vishwanath in the Vishwanath Gali precinct. Tradition holds that no one who reaches her door in Kashi leaves unfed, and her darshan is considered an inseparable part of the Vishwanath yatra.
