Early morning pickup from the specified Hyderabad address by your private Toyota Innova. The Telugu-Hindi-English coordinator joins the vehicle at pickup, completes a brief group introduction and a TTD-document check (Aadhaar copies, photo IDs, any pre-booked seva confirmations), and the drive to Tirupati begins via NH-44 and NH-40 (about 560 km, 9-11 hours including breaks). Lunch en-route at a pilgrim-borne stop at a satvik dhaba of choice near Kurnool or Cuddapah. Arrive Tirupati by late afternoon and proceed directly to the TTD guest house at Tirumala (if allocated for the date) or to the 3★ hotel at Tirupati lower hills with the Tirumala shuttle scheduled for next morning. After check-in and rest, drive 5 km to Tiruchanur for the evening darshan at Sri Padmavathi Devi — by tradition pilgrims visit Padmavathi Devi before Venkateswara Swami, as she is the consort of Bhagavan Venkateswara and the customary first darshan of the Tirupati circuit. After darshan, return to the guest house. The coordinator runs a briefing on the next morning's 3 AM rise for Suprabhata seva, the dress code at Tirumala (traditional attire required), and the queue logistics.
Note Driving distance Hyderabad to Tirupati: about 560 km, 9-11 hours including breaks, via NH-44 (Hyderabad-Kurnool) and NH-40 (Kurnool-Kadapa-Tirupati). Tirumala altitude: 853 m — no acclimatization concerns. Aadhaar card is mandatory for every group member at the Tirumala temple entry; please carry the original. Traditional dress code at Venkateswara sanctum: dhoti/saree or kurta-pyjama for men, saree/salwar for women — no jeans, no shorts, no sleeveless. Phones and cameras are not permitted inside the Tirumala temple complex (free cloakroom available at the entrance).
Rise at 3 AM at the Tirumala guest house (or 2:30 AM at the Tirupati lower-hills hotel for the Tirumala shuttle). Quick freshening and a light bottled water; the formal breakfast follows later. The coordinator escorts the group to the reporting point for the pre-booked ₹300 special-entry darshan at the Sri Venkateswara temple. The Suprabhatam seva — the waking of the deity, performed at about 3:00-3:30 AM with the Suprabhata stotram chanted by the temple priests, the ticket-holders seated at the Tirumamani Mandapam through the rite — is a separate ₹120 Arjitha seva that TTD allots only by electronic lucky dip, with reporting at about 2:00 AM; where the draw has allotted it, the group attends before joining the special-darshan queue. The main darshan of Bhagavan Sri Venkateswara at the sanctum follows. Total time in the queue and at the sanctum: 2.5-3 hours. After darshan, collect Anna Prasadam at the TTD Anna Prasadam Bhavan (the famous laddu prasadam is bought separately at the laddu counter — pilgrim-borne). Return to the guest house for a proper breakfast and rest until 11 AM. By noon, drive 36 km east to Sri Kalahasti. Lunch en-route at a Sri Kalahasti town dhaba (pilgrim-borne). Afternoon darshan at the Sri Kalahasteeswara temple — the Vayu Lingam, the Rahu-Ketu pariharam kshetra. Pilgrims wishing to perform the Rahu-Ketu sarpa-dosha pariharam puja can do so at the temple counter (the coordinator helps with the booking and priest assignment; samagri and dakshina are pilgrim-borne). Return to the Tirumala guest house or the Tirupati hotel by evening — the ghat road is climbed again where the night is at Tirumala. Dinner pilgrim-borne; overnight at the same arrangement.
Note Suprabhatam seva ticket (pilgrim-borne, paid directly to TTD): ₹120 flat, admitting up to two persons, with no entry tiers — allotted only by TTD electronic lucky dip and never guaranteed, reporting at about 2:00 AM. The ₹300 special-darshan ticket at Venkateswara is arranged by Satmarg in advance and included in the package. Anna Prasadam at Tirumala is the standard TTD pilgrim meal — vegetarian thali served at the Anna Prasadam Bhavan. One complimentary laddu comes with the special-entry darshan ticket; laddus beyond that are bought at the laddu counter at about ₹50 each and are pilgrim-borne. Sri Kalahasti Rahu-Ketu puja: ₹400-₹1,500 per couple at counter rates depending on sankalpa.
Breakfast at the guest house or hotel and check-out by 8 AM. The Innova departs for Kanipakam (70 km west of Tirupati, 1.5-2 hours by road). Arrive Kanipakam by mid-morning. Darshan at Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka, the swayambhu Ganesha kshetra where the murti is held by tradition to grow continuously in size and the temple well in front is believed to hold water of testifying power (oaths sworn before this well are held binding in Telugu folk custom, and the local courts historically respected the practice). After darshan and prashad, the Innova continues onward to Hyderabad via NH-40 and NH-44 (about 590 km, 9-10 hours or more with breaks). Lunch en-route at a pilgrim-borne stop at a satvik dhaba of choice. Arrival at the specified Hyderabad address by about 9-10 PM. The coordinator hands over the trip documentation packet — Tirumala darshan receipt, Anna Prasadam slip, Suprabhatam seva ticket stub if one was allotted, Kalahasti puja receipt if performed — and the yatra concludes. A Satmarg post-trip call follows within 48 hours for feedback.
Note Driving distance Tirupati to Hyderabad via Kanipakam: about 590 km, 9-10 hours including the Kanipakam stop and breaks. Kanipakam temple opens at 4 AM and closes between 9 PM and 9:30 PM; the mid-morning visit avoids both the early-morning rush and the afternoon heat. Modest temple attire required at Kanipakam (similar to Tirumala — no shorts, no sleeveless). The post-trip call is the moment to share any feedback for Satmarg's yatra-quality records.
The story
About this package
Tirupati Balaji Yatra Premium is Satmarg's 3-day premium Tirumala circuit from Hyderabad — built for pilgrims who want the full darshan of Bhagavan Sri Venkateswara at Tirumala done with calm, no last-minute scrambling for slots, and a Telugu-Hindi-English coordinator handling the TTD booking workflow on their behalf. The package adds two adjacent kshetras most Hyderabad pilgrims pair with Tirupati — Sri Kalahasti for the Rahu-Ketu pariharam, and Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka at Kanipakam on the way home — so that a single 3-day trip from Hyderabad covers the three temples that traditionally travel together in Telugu pilgrim memory.
Arjitha seva — booking help with TTD
The Arjitha sevas at Tirumala are the morning rites performed before the general public darshan begins — Suprabhata Seva at 3 AM (waking the deity), Thomala Seva (the flower offering at about 3:30 AM), Archana, and the Kalyanotsavam (held later in the morning at the Sampangi Pradakshinam mandapam). Arjitha seva tickets are not sold first-come-first-served: TTD allots them through a monthly electronic lucky dip on the official portal at tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in, and entering the draw requires pilgrim Aadhaar and a photograph. Satmarg's coordinator helps the pilgrim navigate the TTD portal at booking time — choosing the right seva for the travel date, ensuring Aadhaar is correctly entered, and entering the draw the moment the window opens; if the lucky dip allots a seva, we confirm it ahead of arrival. The seva ticket itself is paid by the pilgrim directly to TTD (typically ₹120-₹1,500 per couple at 2026 rates depending on seva); Satmarg's service is the navigation help, not the ticket cost.
SRIVANI Trust darshan slot — facilitation
The SRIVANI Trust darshan is a TTD priority-darshan channel where the pilgrim makes a ₹10,000 SRIVANI Trust donation and buys a ₹500 break-darshan ticket — per person, in the name of the donor — and in return receives a priority-darshan token. Important — per TTD rules, SRIVANI Trust contribution and booking are in the pilgrim's own name; Satmarg cannot book SRIVANI tokens on the pilgrim's behalf. What we do is help the pilgrim with the booking portal walkthrough, confirm the right slot date, and coordinate the priority-darshan arrival timing at the temple. The contribution is paid by the pilgrim directly to TTD.
The Innova line — and why we use it
The 560 km Hyderabad-Tirupati road via NH-44 and NH-40 takes 9-11 hours including breaks. We use a private Toyota Innova or Innova Crysta (not a shared bus, not a sedan) — enough room for a family of 4-5 with luggage, AC throughout, and an experienced driver familiar with the Tirumala ghat road. The vehicle is at the group's disposal for the full 3 days including the inner-circuit drives Tirupati-Tiruchanur, Tirupati-Sri Kalahasti, and Tirupati-Kanipakam-Hyderabad.
The Tirumala morning — Suprabhata, darshan, Anna Prasadam
The package is built around the early-morning Tirumala visit on Day 2. Pilgrims rise at 3 AM at the Tirumala TTD guest house (or hotel at Tirupati lower hills with shuttle to Tirumala if guest house is unavailable for the date), reach the temple compound in the small hours for the early ₹300 special-entry darshan slot (a Suprabhatam seva, where the TTD lucky dip has allotted one, reports earlier still — at about 2:00 AM), and emerge in time for Anna Prasadam at the TTD Anna Prasadam hall. By 9 AM the group is back at the vehicle for the day's onward drive to Sri Kalahasti.
Sri Kalahasti — Rahu-Ketu sthal
Sri Kalahasti, 36 km east of Tirupati, is the Vayu Lingam among the Pancha Bhuta Lingas and the most celebrated Rahu-Ketu pariharam kshetra in South India. Day 2 afternoon is reserved for darshan here. The Rahu-Ketu sarpa-dosha pariharam puja, if the pilgrim wishes to perform it, is booked at the temple counter at standard rates (₹400-₹1,500 per couple in 2026 depending on the specific sankalpa); Satmarg helps with the counter and the priest assignment. After the puja, the group returns to Tirupati for evening rest.
Kanipakam Vinayaka — the homeward stop
Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka at Kanipakam, 70 km west of Tirupati on the Hyderabad return road, is the swayambhu Ganesha kshetra where the deity is held to grow continuously and the well in front of the temple holds water of testifying power (Kanipakam was the village where the temple's name comes from — kani meaning swampy ground and pakam meaning flowing water). Day 3 morning is the Kanipakam visit; after darshan and prashad, the Innova continues onward to Hyderabad — about 590 km and 9-10 hours or more with breaks — for a late-evening arrival.

Questions pilgrims ask
What's covered in the ₹11,999 price?
The ₹11,999 per-person (twin-share) price covers a private Innova for all 3 days from Hyderabad and back, 2 nights' accommodation (TTD guest house where allotted, otherwise a 3-star hotel near the lower hills), breakfast on Days 2-3, the Anna Prasadam meal, help booking the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan, and all fuel, tolls and parking. It excludes the ₹300 darshan ticket, Arjitha seva fees, the SRIVANI Trust donation, Rahu-Ketu puja costs at Sri Kalahasti, and most lunches and dinners.
Is the Hyderabad-Tirupati drive comfortable, or a long haul?
It's a genuinely long drive — about 560-590 km each way, 9-11 hours depending on traffic — done in a private Innova rather than a shared coach, which helps, but you should expect Day 1 and Day 3 to be largely travel days with limited sightseeing time. If a full day of driving each way doesn't appeal, flying is a faster alternative we can also arrange.
Can you guarantee the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan or the 3 am Suprabhatam?
We book the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan in advance through TTD's portal, but only TTD controls final availability. The Suprabhatam seva, the 3-3:30 am ritual, works differently — it's allotted purely by TTD's lucky-draw system, so we can help you register for it but genuinely cannot promise you'll be selected.
What happens at Sri Kalahasti, and is the Rahu-Ketu puja compulsory?
Sri Kalahasti, about 36 km from Tirupati, is known for its Rahu-Ketu kshetra darshan — a temple particularly associated with pariharam (remedial) rituals for these planetary doshas. The visit is included in your itinerary, but the Rahu-Ketu pariharam puja itself is entirely optional and costs roughly ₹400-1,500 extra, paid directly at the temple if you choose to have it performed.
What is Kanipakam, and why is it on Day 3?
Kanipakam, about 70 km from Tirupati, is home to the Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka temple, a well-known Ganesha shrine known for its swayambhu (self-manifested) idol said to be still growing. It's included as a stop on your Day 3 return route toward Hyderabad, so it adds meaningfully to the trip without extra backtracking.
What's the SRIVANI Trust option we keep seeing mentioned?
SRIVANI is a TTD scheme where a ₹10,000 donation, plus a separate ₹500 break-darshan ticket, gets you a faster, less crowded darshan route at Tirumala — it's entirely optional and not part of our package price. We can help you understand and book it if you want it, but we don't include or push it by default.
What's the dress code at Tirumala and Sri Kalahasti?
At Tirumala, TTD expects a dhoti or pyjama with an upper cloth for men and a saree, half-saree, or churidar with an upper cloth for women; mobile phones, cameras and leather aren't allowed near the sanctum. Sri Kalahasti and Kanipakam are more relaxed but modest, traditional clothing is still advisable at both.
What's the laddu and prasadam entitlement across the trip?
You'll get the standard complimentary laddu at Tirumala after darshan, plus the Anna Prasadam meal on Day 2 — extra laddus and prasadam at any of the three temples are purchased separately at their counters, and we'd suggest confirming current prices with our coordinator on the ground since TTD and the other temple trusts revise these periodically.
When's the best time for this route?
October to February suits the drive and all three temple stops best, avoiding both the summer heat on the highway and Tirumala's Brahmotsavam crowd surge (usually September/October); the monsoon months can also mean rougher driving conditions on the Hyderabad-Tirupati highway stretches.
